Wellington started giving tours in 2000 and has owned the company since June 2001. He loves history and using his speaking skills, and this job brings them both together perfectly. He also loves being active in his church choir and singles ministry. And he loves his Philly sports teams!

Alex is a history enthusiast who is always up for a spooky adventure. She loves strolling the streets of Alexandria and introducing tour guests to the local ghosts.

Bryce is an Illinois native who came down to complete his MA in Public History. He is a lover of history, books, and all things paranormal. He enjoys reading, storytelling, and spending time with friends and family. You can find him haunting the Old Town area on certain evenings and he hopes you will drop in for a night of spooky stories!

Caroline is a dynamic storyteller who will take you on an immersive tour of the haunted streets of Alexandria. By day she is a sailor on the Tall Ship Providence docked here in Alexandria as well as an audiobook narrator. She has weirdly specific firsthand knowledge of almost anything!

Chelsea enjoys all things historic and spooky! After having several encounters with the paranormal and living in a haunted house, she now tours the streets of Alexandria, bringing to life the city’s rich history, ghostly apparitions, and sordid past.

Clarissa is an avid storyteller and comic artist with a love of all things spooky and scary. As a horror fan since 2015 they want to share that love of the things that go bump in the night with others through creative storytelling mixed with a little bit of funny and a dash of gore.

Eileen didn’t realize how much she liked history, especially historic Alexandria history, until she became a ghost tour guide. Now she loves to weave her other world stories with the actual history of this colorful colonial city.

As an actress Eliza has portrayed historical figures (Mary Todd Lincoln and Deborah Franklin), and she enjoys keeping their stories and the stories of Alexandria alive. Whether they are those who once inhabited Alexandria or those who might inhabit it still, Eliza’s passion for Alexandria and its history motivate her tours.

Emma is originally from Arizona and has a strong passion for fashion history, good storytelling, and history in general. She makes all of her own costumes, and has several on display at the Lee-Fendall House Museum in Old Town. She loves teaching people from all over the world about the history and spooky legends of Old Town Alexandria.

Jimmy is a master at weaving tales of the macabre, recounting stories of death, mayhem, and dismemberment that still linger in the cobblestone-lined alleys of Old Town. His passion for folklore, ghosts, and cryptids led him to explore the darkest corners of America, and he's even appeared in the horror film festival favorite "America's Most Haunted." He's spent the last decade captivating audiences with his terrifying tales and bringing his expertise and passion to the streets of Alexandria.

John, a lifelong native of Alexandria, VA., studied history at William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Va. and at the US Naval War College in Newport R.I. He became a guide for Alexandria Colonial tours to share the history and ghostly mystery of Old Town Alexandria with our area visitors in a way that's fun and educational.

Ken, a veteran guide, enjoys giving tours to high school students and public tour guests the best.  When not guiding, Ken is a "Big 4" senior consultant specializing in state and local government clients and is extremely active in volunteering within Fairfax County.

Lynn is a licensed DC tour guide (1987). Besides leading ghost tours, Lynn leads tours around the DC area focusing on food, history, scandals, and presidential wives. She holds an MA in Philanthropy and has been an executive director of nonprofits for 20+ years. She is active with the Little Theatre of Alexandria.

Marissa has been a tour guide since October 2022 after relocating to Alexandria, VA from Maryland. She has previously spent numerous years working as an educator in various museums throughout the DC area. She loves reading fiction, bike riding, and volunteering with Special Olympics Maryland.

Mike has been working with the ghost tours since 2000. A 2nd generation native of Alexandria, Mike enjoys sharing stories about his home town with travelers on his tour. In addition to his family, Mike's passions include history, Virginia Tech sports and Washington Nationals baseball.

Nikisha, a local middle school theatre teacher and  lover of historical costuming, has been with ACT since 2018.  She is originally from Arizona and enjoys reading, sewing, a good glass of wine, and most importantly spending time with her kids.
