Haunted Tours in Alexandria, Virginia

Alexandria Colonial Tours is excited to announce TWO very special tours this October, just in time to get into the Halloween spirit! In addition to our Original Ghost & Graveyard Tour every evening through October 31st, we will also be hosting two additional ghostly experiences.

Friday, October 23rd – One Night Only!
7:00 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, 8:30 pm, 9:00 pm

Follow a Colonial-costumed guide by lantern light through the eerie streets of Old Town, passing through one of the city’s most historic graveyards. Visit Gadsby’s Tavern and hear the story of the Mysterious Female Stranger, whose identity is still unknown to this day. Visit the bedroom where she spent her last hours on earth. Walk the floors she walked and the floors she may be walking to this very day. Explore the historic building while you hear the tragic story that transformed this woman of mystery into a ghost!

A Shadow, or Something Else…?

Thanks to a couple of our local ghost tourists, we can all have trouble falling asleep tonight!

Recent local residents enjoyed a tour and all seemed well. However, upon arriving home, this ghostly shadow greeted them! What do you think? Are these shadows reflected by headlights, or is it a ghostly dog who followed them home?

Sweet dreams!
